This Chinese form of deep tissue/structural bodywork is very intense, focused on aggressively activating Qi and moving any stagnation out of the meridians by utilizing very deep pressure. Although a part of Tuina, it is listed separately due to the focus primarily on restoring structural function.
Typical Meridian Dredging sessions last 30 minutes, though 60 minute sessions can be arranged. The patient will need to be disrobed, at least in the region(s) of contact. As standard with any form of bodywork, no private areas or female breast tissue will be exposed.
